We bring together perspectives from different parts of the world into the space of AI and publishing — with a particular commitment to amplifying voices from the Global South, where the adoption of digital technologies and AI is accelerating rapidly.
Our Model
A dedicated home for publishing technology.
Our model is simple: publishing technology deserves a dedicated home within the world’s major book fairs and publishing events. BookTech creates that home — as a physical pavilion that travels alongside international book fairs, and as a remote conference that brings the conversation online.
We are an informal collective, built on shared conviction rather than institutional structure. What unites us is a belief that the publishing industry’s transformation must be visible, inclusive, and driven by genuine exchange between those who create technology and those who put it to work.

The collective is initiated by professionals from Ailaysa, Thinking, Armida Books, and the Limassol International Book Fair — organisations working at the frontier of publishing, technology, and international book culture.
